This is my first time in Yokohama.
今回はアルファーワン横浜関内に泊まりました。
This time I stayed at Alpha One Yokohama Kannai.
アルファーワンも初めて泊まるので初めて尽くしです。

シングルルーム1泊7000円程でした。
A single room cost about 7,000 yen per night.
最近のビジネスホテルはこれくらいでも普通と思います。
I think this is normal for business hotels these days.
部屋がきれいだったので、得している気がします。

周辺情報 nearby information
食うには困りません。
I don’t have any trouble eating it.
目の前にコンビニとサイゼリア、コメダ珈琲。
Convenience store, Saizeria, and Komeda Coffee are right in front of you.
横に吉野家があります。
There is Yoshinoya next to it.
少し歩くだけで飲食店や居酒屋がたくさんあります。
There are many restaurants and bars just a short walk away.
食に関して心配なしです。

立地もかなり良し

駅もかなり近いです。
The station is also quite close.
実際に歩いていないですが、
5～10分ぐらいでたどり着けそうです。
I haven’t actually walked there, but I think it will take about 5 to 10 minutes to get there.
パシフィコ横浜まではタクシーで10分～15分といったところです。
It takes about 10 to 15 minutes by taxi to Pacifico Yokohama.

Memo: What is Yokohama?
When you think of Kanagawa, you think of Yokohama.

Yokohama is Yokohama City.

Origin
There are two theories about the origin of Yokohama.
One is due to the topography.
It is said that it was named Yokohama because it had a long horizontal beach (hama).
The second thing is the location.
During the Edo period, there was a fairly prosperous place called Kanagawa-juku.
It is said that the name Yokohama came from the beach (hama) that was next to it (yoko).

Since I don’t actually live in Yokohama, I’ll introduce my impressions of Yokohama.
Good transportation access.
It’s close to Tokyo and has excellent access to airports and expressways.
There are many tourist spots
There is a Chinatown, a ramen museum, an aquarium, and a zoo.
There are many other things to do, but most of all, it’s a big city, so you can enjoy shopping.
Sports are popular
It is home to the baseball team Yokohama BayStars, and the soccer teams Yokohama F Marinos and Yokohama FC.
There are also many other professional sports teams.

I almost never have the chance to go there, but I thought it was a good place.
Yokohama is a great place.
