Introduction of what we planted
大根 Daikon radish
I bought seeds of spring-planted daikon radishes.
The daikon I planted in winter was a great success, so I decided to make daikon to be sown in spring.
We use daikon radish a lot, so if it grows well, it will help our family budget a lot.
Good luck, daikon!
Leeks
We bought leeks as seedlings.
The ones I planted in winter were from seeds, so they didn’t grow well.
I think I can do well even as a beginner if I plant from seedlings.
豆 Beans
My wife received some beans from a neighbor.
There seem to be two kinds.
I forgot the names.
Actually, I don’t like beans that much.
My wife seems to like them, so I hope they turn out well.
I hope the result will be good!
Note: About beans
There are beans I like and beans I don’t like.
I like edamame, soybeans, and adzuki beans.
I dislike kidney beans, chickpeas, and peas.
I looked up beans grown in the world.
According to the Japan Bean Association’s 2020 survey, the following are the most common beans grown in the world.
No. 1: Green beans
No. 2: Chickpeas
No. 3: Peas
The three I dislike are ranked splendidly.
It means I am out of the mainstream of the world.
But it doesn’t matter.
Even though I am separated from the world, I continue to exist.
The same goes for everyone else.
We are the world and the world is us.
We are the best.
