仕事はじめ　３日まで休みなのは？ why japanese people taking a day off until the 3rd of the beginning of work?

本日より仕事はじめでした。

I started working today.

例年より早い仕事はじめですが、

気持ち的にはもう少し休みたいです。

I started work earlier than usual, but I feel like taking a little more rest.

1月1日～3日のことをいいます。

3日までの理由は、いろいろな説があるようです。

why the company is closed until the 3rd.

調べていると３が日の間にしてはいけないことがあるようです。

I found that there are some things I shouldn’t do in the 3 days of the new year.

・掃除

・cleaning

・洗濯

・料理

・cooking

・刃物を使う

・Use a knife

・四つ足の動物を食べる

・Eat four-legged animals

・お金を使う

・spend money

・ケンカをする

・ Fight

わが家全滅でした。

I did it all .

過ぎてしまったことは仕方ありません。

It can’t be helped that it has passed.

気にしないことにします。

I don’t care.
