My wife’s idea was that she wanted a good camera to record our children.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime event. she want to take good pictures.
For that, she wants a camera.
②スマホで十分＝私
I think a smartphone is good enough.
The performance of smartphone cameras is improving.
If it’s at the level of a digital camera, the phone has better performance.
It’s been more than two years since I bought my phone, so why don’t I buy a new one?

結論、これ買いました。

Origin of Canon
Canon’s company name comes from Kannon Bodhisattva.
Canon’s predecessor company was named Seiki Optical Laboratory.
This company specialized in precision instrument manufacturing.
Then, they made cameras.
The prototype of the first camera was named KWANON.
This was named after the Bodhisattva Guanyin.
The company name was changed as part of a global brand strategy.
They decided on CANON, which is close in sound to KANNON, meaning “scripture” or “standard” in English.
It is quite interesting to find out the origin of the name.
Someday I would like to become someone who can look up the origin of the name.
Not in a bad way, but in a good way.
