防災フェスティバルに行ってきました ２０２３ I went to the Disaster Prevention Festival 2023.
広域消防防災センターで防災イベントが開催されました。
A disaster prevention event was held at the Regional Fire and Disaster Prevention Center.
名前は広域消防防災センタージュニア防災フェスティバルです。
It was called the “Regional Fire and Disaster Prevention Center Junior Disaster Prevention Festival.”
２０２３年８月１１日の山の日に開催されました。
It took place on August 11, 2023—Mountain Day.
このイベント最高です。

イベント内容 Event Content
ジュニア防災フェスティバルの名前通り子供たちが大満足すること間違いありません。
True to the name “Junior Disaster Prevention Festival,” it was guaranteed to delight children.
大人も楽しめます。
However, adults could enjoy it too.
展示 Exhibits
各種作業車の展示があります。
There were displays of various service vehicles.
消防車、救急車、はしご車がありました。
Fire trucks, ambulances, and ladder trucks were on display.
バイクやドローンなど珍しい展示もあります。
There were also unique exhibits like motorcycles and drones.
消防の他にもパトカーや白バイ、
自衛隊のトラックやバイクの展示もありました。
In addition to fire service vehicles, there were police cars, police motorcycles, and Self-Defense Force trucks and motorcycles on display.
写真撮影もできます。
You could take photos, too.
思い出に残せて最高です。
It was a great way to capture memories.
体験 Hands-on Activities
今回子供たちが体験したのは３つです。
The children participated in three main activities this time.
１つ目は放水体験。
The first was a water-spraying experience.
消防車とかでみる放水を実際にさせてもらえます。
They got to try spraying water, just like you see fire trucks do.
なかなかできない体験なので良かったです。
It was a rare and enjoyable experience.
２つ目はロープレスキュー体験。
The second was a rope rescue experience.
ロープをぶら下がりの状態で渡ります。
Participants crossed while suspended from a rope.
イケメンの消防士の方が介助してくれるので
小さいお子さんでも大丈夫そうでした。
A handsome firefighter assisted, so even small children seemed to be able to do it safely.
３つ目はステージイベントです。
The third was a stage event.
足踏みの回数を競うゲームをしていました。
There was a game where participants competed to see who could stomp their feet the most times.
楽しそうでした。
It looked like fun.
消防隊演奏隊での演奏もありました。
There was also a performance by the fire department’s band.
演奏中に子供たちが前に出て踊る場面もあり、楽しそうでした。
At one point, children came to the front to dance along with the music; they looked like they were having a blast.
そのほかにも応急手当の体験や四季防災館の中で地震体験がありました。
Other activities included first aid demonstrations and an earthquake simulation experience inside the “Shiki Disaster Prevention Hall.”
なかなか防災っぽい内容です。
The content was truly focused on disaster prevention.
食事 Food
限定１００食で給食カレーが販売されていました。
“School lunch-style” curry was sold, limited to 100 servings.
１食５００円です。
It cost 500 yen per serving.
結構うまい。
It was quite delicious.
子供たちでも食べられるように甘口でした。
It was a mild flavor, making it easy for children to eat.
キッチンカーも多数あります。
There were also many food trucks.
食事の心配はしなくても大丈夫です。
You didn’t have to worry about where to get a meal.

駐車場 Parking
広域消防防災センターの駐車場の他に
広域消防防災センターの前の空き地が駐車場となっています。
In addition to the center’s own parking lot, the vacant lot in front of the center was used for parking.
それに加え広域消防防災センターの南側も駐車場として
使われています。
The area on the south side of the center was also used for parking.
１０時過ぎになるとかなり込みますので早めに動くことを推奨します。
It gets quite crowded after 10:00 AM, so I recommend arriving early.
感想 My Impressions
最高のイベントです。
It’s a fantastic event.
子供も大人も楽しめます。
Both children and adults can enjoy it.
それになにより対応してくれる消防隊やその他職員の方が
とても親切で丁寧に対応してくれます。
Above all, the firefighters and other staff members are incredibly kind and courteous.
イケメン、爽やか、めっちゃ筋肉の３拍子揃った男どもが
わんさかいます。
There are tons of guys who tick all the boxes: handsome, charming, and super muscular.
女子にもおすすめですね。
I’d definitely recommend it to the ladies, too.
さらに消防隊の女の子もかわいいです。
Plus, the female firefighters are cute as well.
なんかもう最高です。
It’s just the best.
対応してくれている人たちを見ているだけで心が和やかになります。
Simply watching the staff interact with everyone is heartwarming.
心洗われる場所。
A place that truly lifts the spirit.
最高のイベントでした。
It was a wonderful event.
来年も参加したいです。

Memo: Thoughts on why there are so many handsome firefighters
It seems to me that there are many handsome, wholesome-looking firefighters.
I find that enviable.
I’d like to explore the reasons behind this.
First, let’s look at the facts.
The sale of photo books and calendars serves as proof that there are many handsome firefighters.
These products are sold not only in Japan but all over the world.
Generally, photo books and calendars feature people with attractive appearances.
You rarely see such products sold for police officers or other civil servants.
I take this as evidence that there is a high number of handsome firefighters.
Exploring the reasons why
I surmise that the contributing factors stem from the nature of the profession.
Handsome firefighters strike me as wholesome, polite, and cool.
Let’s start with the “wholesome” aspect.
Wholesome and handsome
For starters, their daily training gives them muscular physiques.
I believe that muscularity fosters self-confidence.
That confidence gives them a sharp, composed look.
Polite and handsome
Their work relies on teamwork.
Consequently, I imagine they work while respecting one another.
As a result, I believe they treat outsiders with the same courtesy they show their colleagues.
Cool and handsome
They are the ones who protect us during fires and disasters.
They are real-life heroes—figures comparable to Superman or Anpanman.
Their very existence is cool.
Summary
I’ve explored the reasons why there are so many handsome firefighters.
I am posting this to express my gratitude for all they do.
