もうすぐ卒業式の時期です。

卒業式といえば
学ランの第2ボタンをもらうという風習があります。

好きな人や憧れの先輩の
持てる奴は全部のボタンがなくなったり、
制服がブレザーの場合にはネクタイだったりします。

この風習の理由については諸説あるようです。

1つ目の理由としては
一番心臓に近いボタンが第2ボタンということです。

心臓いわゆるハートですね。

”あなたは離れてしまうけど、せめてハートに一番近いボタンをください”
ということです。

第2ボタンは自分となります。

それをくださいということは
いわゆるあなたの代わりにあなたという意味のボタンをくださいということです。

こちらもせめてボタンだけでもという女の子の切なさ感じます。

最後3つ目は理由は
軍に徴集された男が第2ボタンを好きな人へ贈った説です。

学ランはもともと陸軍の制服です。
Uniforms were originally army uniforms.
ちなみにセーラー服は海軍ですね。

戦争に行ってしまったら2度と帰ってこれなくなるかもしれません。

敬礼の際に、渡したボタンの箇所を
