最近一日に2、3回SIMカードが認識されなくなります。

使用中にも急に認識されなくなりますし、
使っていないときでも知らない間に認識されなくなっています。
It suddenly stops being recognized even when I’m using it.
It stops being recognized without me even noticing, even when I’m not using it.
そのたびにSIMカードを抜き差ししなくてはいけません。
I have to remove and reinsert the SIM card every time this happens.
非常に不便です。

故障の原因 Cause of the failure
ネットで調べてみると次の2つの可能性があるそうです。
When I looked it up online, there are two possibilities.
・SIMカードの故障
・SIM card failure
・スマホの故障
・Smartphone failure
SIMカードの故障の際は無料で取り替えてもらえるところが多いようです。
It seems that many places will replace your SIM card for free if your SIM card is broken.
スマホの故障の際は買い替えする必要があるようです。
It seems that you will need to buy a new phone if your phone is broken.
とりあえずSIMカードを交換してもらおうと思います。
I think I’ll have them replace the SIM card for now.
SIMカードの再発行 SIM card reissue
ahamoなので店頭でやりとりすることができません。
Because it’s ahamo, you can’t do it in-store.
ネットで申請する必要があります。
You need to apply online.
実際にしてみました。
I actually tried it.
最初普通に故障の問い合わせから交換してもらおうと思いましたが、
できませんでした。
At first, I thought I’d just ask about the failure and then have them replace it, but I couldn’t.
ahamoなのでチャットでの申請になるようです。
It seems that you have to apply via chat.
しかもオンラインチャットの方ですので9時~20時の間に問い合わせる必要がありました。
Moreover, it’s an online chat, so I had to ask between 9:00 and 20:00.
このオンラインチャットは結構難しいです。
This online chat is quite difficult.
オンラインでの問い合わせ中でも時間が経過すると自動的にチャットの接続が切られます。
Even if you are making an online inquiry, the chat connection will automatically be disconnected after a certain amount of time has passed.
4回問合せしましたが、まともな応答があったのは最後だけでした。
I contacted them four times, but only the last time I got a proper response.
It seems that the line is automatically cut off after a while.
1回目は症状を報告して、社内で対応相談しますと返信があり、
待っていたら接続が切れました。
The first time, I reported the symptoms and they replied that they would discuss the issue internally, and while I was waiting, the connection was cut off.
2回目は20時の対応時間ぎりぎりでしたが、
20時になると問い合わせのやり取りの途中でも強制的に接続が切られました。
The second time, I contacted them right before the 8 p.m. response time.
At 8 p.m., the connection was forcibly cut off even in the middle of the inquiry exchange.
3回目は症状を聴かれたときに、1回目、2回目に聞かれたことを
まとめて返信しようとしていたら
応答がないようですので失礼します。と返信があり、接続を切られました。
The third time, when they asked me about the symptoms, I was trying to reply to the first and second questions together, but the time ran out.
I’m sorry, but it seems there is no response. I was told, and the connection was cut off.
4回目はまともな対応でした。
The fourth time, they responded properly.
総合してahamoとても不満です。
Overall, I am very dissatisfied with ahamo.
結果としてSIMカードの再発行はDOCOMOのサイトから実施するようです。
つまり、ロボットチャットもあてになりません。
As a result, it seems that the SIM card reissue is done from the DOCOMO website.
In other words, the chat was pointless.

SIMカードを変えてから1ヵ月程使いました。
I’ve been using it for about a month since I changed the SIM card.
変えてから一度もエラーは出ていません。

やはりSIMカードの不具合だったようです。
It seems like it was a problem with the SIM card after all.
改めてDOCOMOホームページを見ると
SIMカードの故障の場合は無償で交換とありました。
I looked at the DOCOMO website again and it said that if the SIM card is broken, it will be replaced free of charge.
ホームページにある記載と実際の対応は違う用です。
It seems like the description on the website and the actual response are different.
今回の件は本当に残念でした。
This incident was really unfortunate.

Reflections on ahamo
I was dissatisfied with ahamo’s service so I changed my mobile carrier to Rakuten.

ahamo’s reputation at the time
When I was using ahamo, the three major carriers in Japan each offered low-cost plans.
docomo had ahamo, softbank had Y Mobile, and au had Linemo.

My ability
I was able to switch from docomo to ahamo, but I was unable to deal with the problems that occurred afterwards.
