天気がかなり良かったため
富山市ファミリーパークにいってきました。
The weather is quite nice. We went to Toyama City Family Park.
冬に動物園に行くのは初めてでした。
It was my first time to go to the zoo in winter.
楽しみ。

まさかのバレンタインデー割引 Valentine’s Day discount
２月13日、１４日は
バレンタインデーの割引があって
高校生以上のカップルまたは
夫婦で来た人達は無料でした。
On February 13 and 14, there was a discount for Valentine’s Day.
It was free for couples and couples over high school age.
その影響もあって、
かなりの数の家族連れの方や
カップルがいました。
Because of this, there were quite a few families and couples.
なかなか粋なはからいをしてくれています。
That’s quite a nifty thing to do.
こういうイベントはうれしいですね。

動物も暖かいの好きみたい Animals seem to like the warmth too
いつもは寝ている
トラ、クマ、オオカミが動いていました。
The tigers, bears, and wolves that are usually sleeping were moving.
なかなか珍しい光景でした。
It was quite a rare sight.
キリンは相変わらず背が高く。
The giraffe is as tall as ever.
サルは日向ぼっこをしていました。
The monkey was basking in the sun.
いつもの光景も冬だと新鮮です。
The usual scene is fresh in winter.
広場は雪が残っている There is still snow in the square
広場は半分ほど雪が残っていました。
The square was still half full of snow.
遊具のところは何とか乾いているみたいでしたが
お弁当を食べるために
シートを敷く場所の確保がなかなか大変でした。
The area of the playground equipment managed to dry out.
It was quite difficult to find a place to lay out a sheet to eat lunch.
結構地面が濡れている。
The ground is pretty wet.
広場の前の売店は２月いっぱい休業みたいです。
The store in front of the square is closed for the whole month of February.
動物園でご飯を食べるときは
弁当を用意して
早めに場所を確保するのがいいと思います。
If you want to eat at the zoo, you need to pack a lunch
and get there early to get a spot.
池の水がない 珍しい No water in the pond, unusual
一番の驚きは池の水がありませんでした。
The biggest surprise was that there was no water in the pond.
池の水抜いてみたなのか
冬だから水量がすくないのか
わかりませんが、珍しい光景でした。
Draining the pond?
Is there less water because it’s winter?
I don’t know the details, but it was a rare sight.
春ぐらいには青々とした水草が生えています。
Lush water plants grow in the springtime.
本当に冬限定の光景です。

動物園の無料コーナーの中の池なので
お金をかけずに珍しい光景が見れます。
The pond is in the free section of the zoo,
so you can see some unusual sights for free.
