先週水換えしたのに
１週間たたずに水が汚れています。
I did a water change last week and the water is dirty in less than a week.
やばす！

水槽の中が汚れている The inside of the tank is dirty
水が白く濁っているほかに
２つの症状があります。
The water is cloudy white.
There are two other symptoms.
フンが大量に落ちています。
There is a lot of poo down there.
そして、底砂に白いカビが生えています。
And there is white mold on the bottom sand.
被害は、メダカ1匹、ヌマエビ２匹、石巻貝３匹です。
This resulted in the death of 1 medaka, 2 numaebi, and 3 stone shells.
とりあえず水は再度変えてみました。
I changed the water again for now.
おそらくの原因 Probably the cause
原因は、スネイルと呼ばれる貝達です。
The cause is shells called snails.
入れてもいないのに入っている貝の総称だそうです。
This is a general term for shells that are not even put in.
侵入経路は水草だと思われます。
I suspect that the infestation pathway is water plants.
I think it was on the underside of a leaf.
気づかずに大量発生となってしまいました。
This has become a massive outbreak without realizing it.
取り除いた貝の数は十数匹ほどになります。
The number of shellfish removed will be about a dozen or so.

他にもガラスや水草の裏に
透明な卵が大量にあります。
There are a large number of other transparent eggs behind glass and water plants.
気づいたものは取り除きましたが・・・

スネイル対策は根気との勝負 Anti-snailing is a game of patience
いろいろ調べるとスネイルは侵入を防ぐのが一番効果的とのことです。
After much research, I’ve found that snails are most effective when they are prevented from entering the system.
It is quite reckless.
見つけたらすぐ駆除するようにします。
I’ll try to get rid of it as soon as I find it
Perseverance is quite troublesome.
It is usually used for things you don’t like.
It is the image of doing tedious and detailed things diligently.
It is more like doing one’s duty rather than trying.
There is little sense of accomplishment when you finish.
I don’t think I understand anything at the moment.
What is the true nature of perseverance?
It may be effort for the future.
It may be something that is just hard now, but will become effort when we look back on the past.
It may be mostly wasted effort.
We have to do it because we don’t know what will make use of it.
Besides, we need to check which perseverance was the most important.
It may be something you never thought of.
I am looking forward to it.
But now is the hard part.
水質悪化はどうしよう What to do about water quality deterioration
水槽がちいさいので
ちょっとしたことで
水質が悪くなってしまうのかもしれません。
Maybe the water quality will deteriorate a little bit because the tank is tiny.
少し大きめのものを購入しようかしら・・・
Maybe I should buy something a little bigger…
ちょっと検討します。
