自動車税って意外ときつい Car tax is surprisingly tough.
3万５千円といっても１台当たりの金額です。
The 35,000 yen is per car.
わが家では自分の分と妻の分とで２台ありますので
合計七万円になります。
In my family, we have two cars, one for me and one for my wife, so the total is 70,000 yen.
地方だと生活必需品なのに
毎年七万円も必要なのは結構つらいです。

ただでさえ、ガソリン代や車検代、スノータイヤの購入費や交換費があるのに
さらに税金高いのは家計的にきついです。
Even just the cost of gasoline, car inspections, and the purchase and replacement of snow tires is a big expense.
It is hard on the family budget to have to pay even higher taxes.
どうしようもないですが、
どうにかしてほしいですね。

今回も前回同様インターネット経由でクレジット払いします。

相変わらずLINE PAYもPAY PAYも登録していませんので一択です。

今回変わったことが一つあります。

前回まではYahoo!公金支払いで行っていましたが、
2022年の3月自動車税納付サービスは終了となったようです。

今回からはF-REGI公金払いでの支払いになります。
From this time onward, payment will be made through F-REGI Koganei Payments.
F-REGI公金支払いにチャレンジ Challenge to F-REGI Public Money Payment
さっそくチャレンジします。

エフレジと呼ぶそうです。
They call it “F-REGI”.
サイトに移動して、自治体を探します。
Go to the site and search for your municipality.
自治体を選択し、各種税料金を選択します。

この画面の下の方に

この画面がありますので、内容を確認して、
上記内容を全て確認しましたにチェックをいれ、同意して次へ進むを押します。

税目の自動車税を選択します。
Select the automobile tax under the tax category.
自動車税納付所に書いてある納付情報と確認番号を入力します。

決済情報としてメールアドレスとクレジットの情報を入力したら、
完了です。
Enter your e-mail address and credit card information as payment information,
The process is complete.
意外とあっさり終わりました。

所要時間は20分ほどでした。

やる前は億劫でしたが、始めてしまえばすぐに終わります。

In psychology, it is called baby steps.
It is a way to start thinking about doing a little bit instead of starting thinking about doing it all.
For example, just one question, just one line, just one minute, just open your PC, change your clothes, etc.
The first step in anything is the hardest.
The idea is that once you start, you can proceed as you go.
Once people start something, they can’t finish it. We want to finish as much as we can.
But it is OK to do just one question.
Because you have achieved your goal.
If you keep doing small things, you will eventually reach your goal.
You don’t have to work hard all the way through.
Just a little bit of effort.
This is important.
