カラス対策 How to deal with crows
大事件が起きました。

The size of cultivated land in the world
According to 2019 data, it is 1,244 megahectares.
The land area of the Earth is 14,900 megahectares, so about 10% of the Earth’s land area is cultivated land.
That’s a huge size.
Ranking of cultivated land size by country
The top three in the 2024 data were India, the United States, and China.
Countries with large land areas tend to have large cultivated land areas.
Japan is 60th.
It is 61st in land area, and considering that 70% of the country’s land area is forested, I think it is doing a great job.
Area of cultivated land needed to be self-sufficient
The information varies depending on the site, but it seems that about 100 m2 is needed.
However, this is the area for complete self-sufficiency.
Each person has a limit to the size of their land, so it seems they need to work well within that range.
