妻と子供で大切に育ててくれているので
しっかりと育っているようです。

野菜がすごく成長しています Vegetables are growing so much!
春の初旬に植えた豆、大根、ネギが成長しています。
The beans, radishes, and green onions that we planted in early spring are growing.
このままどんどん成長してほしい。
I hope they will continue to grow and grow.
まず豆 First, the beans.
最初は芽がでるか不安でしたが、
立派に芽を出し、葉っぱもぐんぐん増えていっています。
At first I was not sure if they would sprout, but they have sprouted splendidly and their leaves are increasing rapidly.
そして一つの鉢には花も咲きました。
One of the pots even bloomed.
これからどんどん増えて楽しみです。
I am looking forward to seeing more and more of them.
次は大根 Next, daikon radish!
まいた種がほぼすべて芽を出したと思われます。
It seems that almost all the seeds we planted have sprouted.
すごい量の大根の葉っぱになっています。
The daikon radish leaves are growing in great quantities.
大根自体はまだできていないですが、
少し間引く必要があるみたいです。
The radishes themselves are not yet ready, but they need to be thinned out a little.
間引いた大根の葉っぱでナムル作りました。
I made namul with the thinned daikon leaves.
これもおいしかったです。
It was delicious too.
最後にネギ Last but not least, green onions.
本当にまっすぐ伸びています。
They are growing really straight.
成長するたびに追い土しているそうで、
ぐんぐん伸びてきています。
They are moving up through the soil every time they grow.
天まで届く勢いかもしれません。
It may reach to the sky.

早速ですが、夏野菜を植えました。
We planted summer vegetables.
新メンバーはコチラです。
Here are the new members.
ミニトマト。 Mini-tomatoes.
トマトはちょっと高いし、
子供たちも食べたり食べなかったりなので
もったいないので作ります。
Tomatoes are a bit expensive, and the kids don’t eat them, so we decided to make them because they are too good for them.
次にきゅうり。 Next are cucumbers.
きゅうり好きです。生でも酢の物でも好きです。
I love cucumbers. I like cucumbers raw or vinegared.
いっぱい生ってほしい。
I want it to grow a lot.
大葉。 Shiso leaves.
大人になってから食べられるようになりました。
I have been able to eat them since I became an adult.
無限大葉とか作りたいです。
I want to make “Mugen Oba” (infinite shiso leaves).
しっかり生っておいしくたべたいですね。
I want to eat them fresh and delicious.
