神社に行ってきました。
I went to a shrine.
今年はコロナの影響が心配なので
妻の厄払いと
お守り購入だけしてきました。
I’m worried about the influence of corona this year,
so I only prayed for my wife and bought amulets.

昨年と変わったこと ～What has changed from last year～
密対策 ～Countermeasures against crowding～
厄払いの会場に変化がありました。
There was a change in the prayer venue.
去年までは前詰めで床に座っていました。
Until last year, I was sitting on the floor in order from the front.
今年は密になるのを避けるためか
１家族に１つの長椅子が用意されるようになりました。
This year, one chaise longue is provided for each family,
perhaps to avoid crowding.
お年寄りや足の具合が悪い人にも
優しい変化になっていました。
It was a gentle change for the elderly and those with poor legs.
いつも厄払いが終わるころには
足が痺れてしばらく動けなかったのですが
今年は大丈夫でした。
By the time my prayers were over, my legs were numb
and I couldn’t move for a while, but this year it was okay.
コロナで大変ですが、
人にやさしい変化も起きていると感じました。
It’s hard in Corona, but I felt that people-friendly changes are happening.
子供たち ～children～
昨年は神社に入ると場所みしりがありました。
Last year, children sometimes got stopped
because of places they didn’t know when they entered the shrine.
全く動かず割と静かでした。
They didn’t move at all and were relatively quiet.
厄払いが始まる直前ぐらいに
ようやく慣れて
神社の中を動き回っていました。
It was just before the prayers began
that they were able to move around the shrine.
今年の子供たちはフルスロットルでした。
This year’s kids were at full throttle.
神社の中に入った瞬間に走り始めました。
The moment I entered the shrine, They started running.
でも、厄払いが始まると少しの間ですが、
椅子に座っていることができました。
But they were able to sit in a chair for a short while
when the prayers began.
昨年と同じことをすると、
子供の成長がわかりやすいです。
If you do the same thing as last year,
it will be easier to understand your child’s growth.
そのように感じました。
I felt that way.
来年も厄払いがあるで、
子供たちがどのような変化をしているか
楽しみです。
I have prayers next year and
I am looking forward to seeing how the children are changing.

神社といえば、屋台ですよね！
Speaking of shrines, they are food stalls, right?
初詣や祭りのときに出る屋台は
子供のころから大好きです。
Since I was a kid, I’ve loved the food stalls
that appear during Hatsumode and festivals.
その中でも好きなものは
ベビーカステラです。
Among them, my favorite is baby castella.
大きな祭りがあるときには、
全国の有名なベビーカステラ屋さんが来られるので
味比べするのが楽しみです。
When there is a big festival,
famous baby castella shops from all over the country come to visit,
so I’m looking forward to comparing the tastes.
富山で有名なベビーカステラ屋さんは
倉田商店というところです。

ファボーレにもたまにいます。

見つけてしまうと
食べずにはいられません。

今年も変わらずベビーカステラは
美味しかったです。
