一応完成しました。
Milk carton craft is now complete in a nutshell.
結局、シンプルイズベストでした。
In the end, simple was best.

めんどくさすぎて・・・ Too much hassle…

チラシを細かくする方法がめんどくさすぎました。
I found it too much of a hassle to make the flyer into small pieces as described in the past articles “Crafting with paper cartons: Start making a table” and “Making a chair with a milk carton”.
結果、
紙パックを丸めて詰めるだけに落ち着きました。
As a result, we settled on just rounding up the paper packs and stuffing them.

潰して
crush
さらに詰めます。
Further stuffing.
めっちゃ簡単。
It’s so easy.
そして速い。
And fast.
最初からこうすればよかったのですね。
I should have done this from the beginning.
注意点が一つあります。
There is one thing to note.
夜中にやると
うるさいと叱られます。
I get scolded for being noisy when I do this in the middle of the night.
チラシを丸めるくしゃくしゃと
潰すドンドンが意外と大きな音みたいです。
The sound of the flyer being rolled up and crushed seems surprisingly loud.
I love the phrase “simple is the best.
The word itself is also simple.
As in this case, I often settle for a simple method after trying various things.
I always want to aim for a good balance between not too much and not too little.
I think trial and error is important.
I would like to devote myself to it.
子供たちもそこそこ喜ぶ Children are happy there
椅子にしようと思って
製作しましたが
予想に反して
違う遊び方をしていました。
I made it to be a chair.
Unexpectedly, the kids played differently.
一列に並べてその上を歩いたり
少し間を空けて
飛び石みたいに使ってました。
The kids walked on them in a row or used them like stepping stones with a little space in between.
楽しんでくれてよかったです。
I’m glad the kids enjoyed it.
チラシと牛乳パックが貯まったら
追加製作したいと思います。
I would like to produce these additions when I have enough flyers and milk cartons saved up.
