作ってみることにしました。

もやし、はんぺんでかさ増しした
シュウマイを作ります。
Make a teamed meat dumpling (Chinese-style).
Use bean sprouts and hanpen to add bulk.

用意する材料は4種類です。

ひき肉 100g
100g minced meat
もやし 1袋(200g)
1 bag of bean sprouts (200g)
はんぺん 1~2枚
1 or 2 hanpen
Hanpen is a white, square-shaped fish paste.
It is often used as an ingredient in oden.
However, I don’t see it in many places other than oden.
The texture is fluffy.
I don’t like the texture.
I think kamaboko is more delicious than hanpen.
Kamaboko is fish cake.
Toyama Prefecture is famous for its fish cakes.
Toyama’s kamaboko is characterized by the fact that it does not have a plate.
There are also other types of fish cakes, such as crafted fish cakes, so you should definitely try buying one.
シュウマイの皮 20~30枚
Teamed meat dumpling (Chinese-style) skins: 20-30 pieces
This is the skin for the Teamed meat dumpling (Chinese-style).
調味料は2種類です。
There are two kinds of seasonings.
ソース 大さじ1
1 tablespoon of sauce
片栗粉 大さじ1
1 tablespoon potato starch

包丁の使用回数が少なく、
電子レンジでの調理になるので
簡単に作ることができました。
It requires less use of a knife.

手順は以下の通りです。
The procedure is as follows.
①もやしをみじん切り
1) Finely chop the bean sprouts.
②もやし、ひき肉、はんぺん、ソース、片栗粉を混ぜ、
シュウマイの中身を作る(ハンバーグ作るみたいにする)
2) Mix bean sprouts, ground meat, hanpen, sauce, and potato starch.
Then make the contents of the Teamed meat dumpling (Chinese-style)
(like making a hamburger steak)
③シュウマイの中身を一口サイズに丸めて
電子レンジ用の皿に並べる
3)Roll the 2)into bite-sized pieces and place them on a microwave-safe plate.
④濡らしたシュウマイの皮を
シュウマイの中身にかぶせる
4) Put the wet Teamed meat dumpling (Chinese-style) skin over the 3).
⑤電子レンジでチン
5) Microwave it.
レシピでは、電子レンジの加熱時間は
600wで4分でした。
The recipe called for a microwave heating time of 4 minutes at 600w.
私の場合は火の通りが心配だったので
600wで12分加熱しました。
I was worried about them getting raw, so I cooked them at 600w for 12 minutes.
さすがにここまでやれば
火が通ります。

個数が多かったので
2回に分けて作りました。
Since there were a lot of pieces,
I split them into two and put them in the microwave.
1回目につくったものは
きれいにできました。
The first one I made came out beautifully.
明日も食べるようにタッパー保存しました。
I saved the tupperware to eat again tomorrow. It will be a snack for drinks.
シュウマイって感じでおいしそうです。

2回目は形がぺったんこになってしまいました。
The second time, the shape was flattened out.
ラップで皿を完全に覆ったことで
圧力でつぶされてしまいました。
The plastic wrap completely covered the plate,
causing it to be crushed by the pressure.
確かに、1回目のラップは適当だった気がすします。

ラップはふんわりとかけましょう。
Wrap it softly.
形はシュウマイというより饅頭みたいになりましたが
味は一緒です。

味に関しても、
食べるときに醤油とからしをお好みでどうぞなので
味でも失敗することがないと思いました。
It’s okay to use the wrong amount of seasoning.
When you eat it, you can add soy sauce and mustard as you like.
